Real Madrid continued preparing for Wednesday's match against Galatasaray in the Santiago Bernabeu Trophy. Nuri Sahin rejoined the squad and trained at the same pace as their teammates. Alvaro Arbeloa missed the session due to traumatic synovitis on his right knee. Granero and Altintop did specific recovery workouts.
Nineteen first team players were joined by the academy's Mendes, Merchan, Tomas Mejias, Alex, Nacho and Morata. They all divided into three groups: the youth teamers did recovery exercises after yesterday's first match of the season with Castilla; Casillas, Adan and Tomas Mejias tackled exercises, with and without the ball, under the supervision of goalkeeper coach Silvino Louro; and the rest did stretching and warm-up exercises before tackling speed drills, doing strengthening workouts, and working on headers.

The latter two groups joined forces to practice shooting on target. Jose Mourinho positioned many of his men on the wings to serve crosses for the rest to finish off.

I hope Madrid get a victory over Galatasary! However, this is just a good preparation and warm up. It would be embarrassing if we lose but it wouldnt mean anything.

I really Hope Sahin gets some game time as i am really looking forward to watching him play.
