Nuri Sahin - Budesliga Player of the Year 2010-2011 has yet to get a reasonable run in la-liga. What's happening? Not even on the squad list

Doesn't he fix in the current Real Line up? Can't wait to see him in action.

Any Idea in this regard?

I dont really know to be honest. I'm on par with you. He should be playing. Mourinho doesnt think he has enough confidence which isnt a good reason cause the only way to build confidence is by giving him time.

yes, I think its time the coach gave him short cameo stints, may be last 10 min or so. It sad such talent is wasted on the bench.

I'm turkish and i know Real Madrid's turkish players well.

Nuri is really talented player. I also think Nuri must get more time than Hamit Altintop who gets some time on matches.

But i think Mourinho usually prefers players with high physical condition. Nuri will get more chances in next season as he will gain condition in pre-season.

Also Nuri is a backup for Xabi Alonso. Maybe Mourinho doesn't want to use both of them as they are more offensive players.

Perhaps, he's not in Mou's immediate plan. Again, constant injuries have not helped him.

I believe he will most likely return to Dortmund though.

It would be sad to see Sahin go back without making any impact.

Don't know whether its his lack of pace that's working against him. But i believe he can compensate tht with his high work rate and splendid technicality.

I think he would be good when Real choose to play 4-3-3, like they do against Barcelona. He could take on the deeper play making role with two defensive minded mid fielders behind him, say Alanso and Khedira.

Hope he gets some playing time in the coming fixtures.

I'd be surprised and sad if he went back to Dortmund, can't see that happening. He does look like a long term replacement for Alonso as Freak7 said, but for sure this season won't get much time after these injurie(s?) by the look of things.

I like him a lot also, he's amazingly talented and I'm sure he'll justify his transfer if not this season, the next for sure.

I think Nuri is a great player but he just needs time to adapt and get his condition up cuz he has been strugling with injuries since he arrived in Madrid. I don't believe that he will go back to Dortmund, he will get much more playing time next season and I believe this one too when La Lige gets near the end and Real secures the title.
