Default La Liga

First La Liga game...wow..wat a match! Valencia V Racing ended 4-3!! Soldado scoring 4 goals, 3 for his own team and another for their team (own goal).
Adil Rami, valencias new signing (mata replacement), also scored his first. He looks very promising.

One word....Levante....WOW!!

I never thought they would remain this consistent! This team is unbelievable, i cannot believe they currently stand on 20 points, undefeated, and on top of both Real and
Barca. I thought their victory against us was a one off. They destroyed both Malaga and Villareal! Yea, Villareal may not be that great but this is a team that gave Man city a run for their money and almost succeeded.

I hope they continue this form, i really do. It's about time a small team challenge the way they are challenging.

Maybe I'm just too selfish but I would actually would like to see an end to their form. Like remember when Betis were on the top of the tables. Boy did I feel when they were "set aright".

Meh.

Like I said, I am probably just selfish. Yeah I hate it when the folks from the EPL say stuff like "how's your two-team league?" and stuff but I would prefer Real/Barca (if we're being realistic) on top with Levante and others "competing".

That's just me.

I hate it when they say that!

Yea, realistically they will not maintiain this form and Barca and Real will lead again but i'm just happy to see another la liga side strenghten.

I remember when Levante beat us this season (1-0), that I thought "bah, it was just lucky". And some weeks later, they are in the top of the league after beat Villarreal 0-3. Wow!
Anyway, i don't think they can keep this position for a long time. But, like we say in Spain: "Que les quiten lo bailao"

Wow what an expression. Honestly, I had to look it up to fully grasp its meaning.

Correct me if I'm wrong, you're saying that:
Levante are on the top of the table. You can take them off the top ,but what is done is done; you can't erase the pleasure that they already experienced.

Something like that??

Does that mean something like, Enjoy yourself while you can?

I agree with you in that i dont think they will last on top for long but my God they are doing a fabolous job. I really hope they continue their run and finish 2nd this year. (behind us ofcourse

El Espiritu de la Camiseta Blanca LL 06-07 part 1 - YouTube

El Espiritu de la Camiseta Blanca LL 06-07 part 2 - YouTube

Just found this video of our 06/07 La liga winning campaign. It's split into two parts and i found it very emotional and inspirational.

I just hope we win the title this year!

That's exactly what it means

And another week that Levante will be in the top of the league, thanks to a fantastic goal by Ruben Suarez in the last minute of the added time. 3-2 win over Real Sociedad (next opponent for Real Madrid)

Thanks for the videos.

That season was heartbreaking, haha. Higuain's goal against Espanyol was the beginning of something special.

I remember (like it happened yesterday) the overturn against Sevilla with an amazing Guti, the game in Huelva with Roberto Carlos goal in the last minute and, of course, the game in La Romareda (which was played at the same time that Barcelona-Espanyol). I remember the 2-2 goal in La Romareda was only a few seconds before Tamudo scored the 2-2 in the Camp Nou. That was unbelievable.

And finally, the game against Mallorca. Another overturn. Mallorca scored first and that day, Reyes was the hero with two goals.
What memories!
