Did we see lots of goals? mmm, if you think 5 is alot then... YES!

But boy did we see lots of cards! Two reds and 6 yellows.

Then there were 2 penalties. Clear ones too. If you stop a clear goalscoring opportunity on the last man it's a straight red.

Mou was right when he said the game would not be easy. I wonder if he has dreams of the game the night before or something cuz he was spot on

Not a pretty game, but at least we won.

Can you believe the Classicos are in two weeks??? I don't even want to think about it.

Fantastic result not only for you guys, but with Barcelona's massive slip up it's been a great night!
I love how Mourinho handles every situation, to me he's such an inspiration despite whatever people say about him.

You should be positive for the Classico! You're on brilliant form, while Barcelona look like they're overloaded with quality/young talent and Pep's struggling to control the situation. He's switching his lineup around constantly (I understand he has some injuries), but also the defence is looking suspect (with Puyol out). Should have been addressed in the summer.
Abidal/Puyol aren't getting any younger, Alves isn't far off either. He's got a job on his hands to fix that.

I think the only aspect to Barcelona I'd be thinking about is their mental approach on the game, they'll know they're 6 points behind (probably still, by then)- and will fight hard to win the game. I'm sure Mourinho will be way ahead of course and will know how important avoiding complacency is.

I wish you all the luck in the world! Nothing better for me than seeing Barcelona getting knocked off their perch. Valdes/Puyol/Alves/Xavi especially, it goes to their ego's way too much.

What a fantastic way to start the morning (i live in Aus lol)! Our game wasn't pretty but the scoreline certainly was. The icing on the cake was seeing Barca lose and drop 3 points, 6 point lead now!!! The cules on the Barca forum are all knee jerking to the max. I am now feeling alot more confident in the upcoming clasico as Barca will be playing away and their away form is horrendous...i hope this doesn't wake them up though. Pep's rotation is screwing the team up, the team is confused and they have no rhythm.

However in saying that, it is not over yet as in the 06/07 season they were 9 points ahead of us and we managed our way back and ended up winning the title

I just hope we don't drop points in our upcoming game against gijon as we have some kind of weakness against them.

I'm also very confident in our team at the moment. Alonso is playing some of the best football i have ever seen. Honestly, he is the brains of our team and Casillas is the heart Also, Ramos is a BEAST in CB..i love watching him play there. Finally, im happy mou is giving Callejon quality game time.

I'm happy with the result surely and my prediction

A confident win on a week that Barca lost 3 points.

Yes Classicos are in 2 weeks, we're not in a top form but Barcelona worse than us.
I'm only disappointed for some wrong long passes. We play better with short and fast passes. I'm sure Mourinho also sees that.

Also Atletico Madrid played with hard tackles, fortunately we had no injuries.

We figured out today that Cristiano got one

Let's hope he recovers quickly

Grr. Barca played today (and won) so for the time being they've cut our lead. We'll get it back. (HOPEfully)

On a brighter note, Kaka and Arbeloa joined training today

I hope Kaka can play in the Classico
